Title: [Bug] Save List button dead in Netscape 7.2?
Post by: lynda.kane on November 05, 2006, 12:27:16 pm
Hi,

I have 24 lists and just created a new one, or tried to - but when I press 'save list' the button appears to be dead - nothing happens and list is not saved!  Have I exceeded a list quota or something? How can I resucitate my save list function?   :?

Thanks,

Lynda

Hi Lynda,

I'm not sure what happened there - there are no limits on the # of lists you can create other than the database field size, which can be increased and is 65535.  Are you sure the page loaded fully?  Did you try both buttons, top and bottom?  I checked your installation with the details I have in your recent support request and had no troubles saving any lists.  Please let me know if you require further assistance.

Hi Dean,

Thanks for checking it!

Yes page had fully loaded and I used both top and bottom buttons.   Yes, I can create a new list too and add users to it, but it's not saving any changes to the List Settings page. For example, I just created list 29 and called it 'LK test.' But it appears in the list as 'New List' and won't save any changes made on that page. ???

Thanks!

Warmly,

Lynda

Hi Lynda,

So you are still experiencing this...  Have you tried another browser?  (Which are you using?) Did you, perhaps, disable JavaScript in your browser?

Hi Dean,

I have now!    And everything is fine.

Ok, it's a browser problem - probably since the new upgrade. It works fine in IE6. I use Netscape 7.2 (cos it has a neat html composer).

Is fixing it for Netscape a big deal?  If so I'll just keep using IE6.

Thanks for all help as usual,

Warmly,

Lynda
