Can I get notification that a mailing has started and ended?
« on: October 14, 2006, 05:19:32 pm »
I would like to know how to add in place a notification to be sent to the admin that a mailing has started and then a notification that the last mail left the server so I can know how long it is taking to mail out to my entire list.

Can someone help me to hack the script to do this? And Dean could you add that as an option for us to select to happen at mailing time?

I think it would be a helpful feature to know this info and to plan ahead of a special event that the emails need to get out by the time the event starts.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Knowing when the eMails stop

Hi Rich!
Nice to see you in here  :)

I've been using ListMailPro for about 2 years.
It's great.

Add your own name to the bottom of the list (subscribe to your own list right before you send out a mailing).

Use a name like Zed_List23 @ YourDomain.com
- you'll know when the mails have all be sent since you'll be getting the last letter.

Just a thought until Dean puts this feature in!

Thanks Marc for the suggestion.

Yeah I 've been using it about the same time as you. I see we joined the forum within a month of each other.

Great to run into you here.

I hope everything is well with your business.
