Title: Multi-Content Email
Post by: charlie1 on June 26, 2006, 09:42:20 am
I have a list with some true/false fields indicating if the user wants or not that content (I.E: Sports) to be included in the email.
I have the DB structure from which i get the contents, done. Is there a way to implement this functionality in the LMP?
Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks!!!

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.  You are not trying to send to a sub-list, such as with User Selection, but are trying to send messages with different 'sections' that might be turned 'on' or 'off' based on data in a custom field (checkbox value, etc) - is that right?

Exactly. When the user subscribes, selects which sections from all possibles he wants to receive in the e-mail. And that must be saved in the DB with a 1/0 or t/f or on/off.

I'll have to consider this one as a suggestion, Charlie - I can't think of an easy way to do this.
