Title: Retrieve HTML message by URL
Post by: charlie1 on July 31, 2006, 04:09:42 pm
Hi,

Is there anyway to send custom contents through LMP?  or will there be such function available in the future?  And is there anyway to automatically populate both the text and html sections of the program when sending a newsletter?  Our company currently has a newsletter page within our website that I copy and paste the source code onto the html section but would love to be able to do this on the fly.  I am sorry if I am not making much sense since I am new to this whole gig.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ability to load a web page to retrieve the source for an HTML message has been suggested and may be in the next update.

Charlie,

It will likely be a few weeks... Furthermore, the text copy would not be loaded in the same way.  I recommend using a message code of the type "Link to HTML" instead.

If you need the URL->HTML feature sooner I could be coerced with a small payment of about $40. :)

Here YOU go again....  what makes you think this is more important than basic statistics?   It's much more important for the REAL USERS of LMP to have stats, I can get open rates, clicks on every link and sales dollars by using a standard autoresponder service!   I need that from LMP, and I'm sure many others do too!

It's NOT WORTH YOUR TIME to do HTML->email for $40!  Wake up DW, I thought you had previously, now you're slipped back into your old ways

Please.....

Don't worry, Brett.  Such an addition wouldn't take me very long at all.  I hope to improve statistics for the next release as well.

Great, please also include HOW many subscribers UNSUBSCRIBE for each followup, for example I can get that now, see the image below, I can get

1.) Open Rates,
2.) Unsubscribes (Removals)
3.) Clicks for every link in EACH FOllowup!  Can you please give us something similar?
