Title: 554 Message refused.

I am part way through a mailing, and I've gotten the following error message:

Server said:
354 End your message with a period.
554 Message refused.

I am unable to resume the mailing again. I can send a test message without issue, and my configuration settings are fine. Does anyone know what causes this error and what I can do to resolve it?
