We would like to add a modal sign-up box to our site that pops up the first time a visitor comes to our site. Once they sign up, however, we don't want the box to pop up again, so we'd like to add a cookie to the signup.php file. Does anyone know how and where to add the cookie? (I have the cookie and tried adding it, but it prevented the confirmation emails from going out.)
I'd be grateful for whatever information you can provide!
