Title: Blank follow up e-mail and sign up response page

When people sign up for the list, they are properly being added to the list and I receive an e-mail notice about their sign up.

However, suddenly the acknowledgement page is blank and they receive a blank e-mail with just "This is a multipart message in MIME format." at the top of the body.

I've checked the default html page and  nothing looks wrong as well as the followup e-mail (just text.)
