Can anyone explain in simple step by step terms how to set up a cron job?
I have got as far as the setup page on cPanel4 and understand the time and date but am unsure of commands.
Where do I store the e-mails I want sent?
If some one comes on the list halfway through do they start there or at the begining?
How do I point to the list to send?
All very basic stuff but I know very little

Adele,
The cron task should look like as mentioned in the help, here:
http://listmailpro.com/help/dailymail_cron.html
The first part 0 0 * * * is the timing, the second part is the command. The command should be modified to contain your ListMail dailymail password. No other options should be set here.
In ListMail you can schedule one-time messages simply by clicking "Send Email" then choose "Schedule" from the drop-down to set the date. If you don't find it there, click "Scheduler" from the main left menu.
Followup messages, if they exist on a list, are sent automatically to those subscribers. When a new user subscribes they start at the first followup. If you have users at the end of the sequence they will be sent new followups you add on the schedule you set them for. Some more details about how followup timing works can be found on the help page here:
http://www.listmailpro.com/help/followups.html
If you have any further questions at all about scheduled messages, followups or how the scheduled task is set up or what it does please let me know.
