We are hosted at dreamhost.com and using daily mail to send 5 sequential followups to new subscribers to our newsletter after they join.
Each day we have 10-20 new subscribers.
Here's the problem we are having.
The daily mail script runs around 1am and send the daily email report to the administrator with no apparent errors. However, when we log in to the admin control panel there is an error at the top of the page saying the daily mail did not finish.
This happens about 3 days a week.
There is a resume or cancel link for the job. Clicking resume appears to finish the mailing but it appears to be going out to the same people.
What would cause the script to hang up or not finish on some days?
