Title: Double messages :(

Hi,

I setup a new List and added a basic HTML form for people to be able to subscribe to.

All works fine to start with.  When each person signs up, the system sends a message asking for confirmation.  However, when they confirm, they then get sent 2 copies of the welcome message, and I as Admin get 2 copies that they signed up.

Obviously, only one message should be sent.  There is only the one entry in the user db.

Please advise.

I have tried changing from SMTP to sendmail, but it seems the system is doing this, not any settings I made :(

I am running the latest version, v1.84.

Hi,

Done further testing, and this only happens in NetScape when using the IE engine.

Any other engine, or in IE direct, it is ok :)

Thanks for the tips on recreating the error.  I have heard a few people report a similar issue but didn't have any idea what was going on.  Based on your suggestion, I'll do some testing on this and let you know.
