Hello,
I'm not sure what's changed, but now when a visitor tries to sign up to a mailing list to which they are already subscribed, they are not getting the proper error message, but are getting a "Page can not be displayed" error.
Any suggestions on how to track down the problem?
I'm using 1.85 as I have since it became available. I haven't and won't upgrade to 1.86 until the 24 hour limitation on dailymail is made optional.
Thanks.
EDIT: It appears that I'm actually using version 1.84. I'll see about upgrading to 1.85 and see if that helps.

Okay, I've upgraded to 1.85 and now I get this error when trying to enter a subscription from the signup form:
admin-40-Unknown column 'textonly' in 'field list'
This is happening with all attempts, whether the email address is in the database or not, which mean that it's a major problem!
Additionally, when trying to access the config screen in the admin panel, I get this error:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/powerkey/public_html/LM/editconf.php on line 1909
I'm going to roll back to 1.84 until we can come up with some answers on this.

Now this is weird.
After rolling back to 1.84, the error message on a resubscription is working correctly.
Must have been a file that got corrupted somehow. I'll test another upload of 1.85 to see if that's what happened there too.

After uploading the new files you must make sure to browse to the ListMail login page for database updates to take effect. If you do this, and all goes as expected, you should not receive the "invalid field" error message.

Yes, I know. For some reason it didn't do the database update when I browsed to the login the first time around.
I just uploaded the files to a new directory, copied the old config.php file over, browsed to the login page, and everything worked as expected.
After that, I copied over the old cgi directory and renamed the directories so that everything links up properly. Looks good from here.
