Easy way to track open rates??

I see a previous post about how to do this but it is way too complicated for a non-techy like myself.

Can anyone share a very idiot-proof way to see which recipients opened their emails??   :lol:

This is covered a million times up here, there is NO way to track opened emails reliably, good luck...  

BTW - if you think there IS a reliable way, ask the person that told you there was how they do it?   I'm curious, as everyone in this business knows (and I've been in it for almost 10 years now), there is NO way to track opened emails....

Only very new internet marketing people (generally) think there is a way... even if there is a way - it is NOT reliable...  in other words you can't trust it, so you THINK xxx people opened your email, it may have been twice that number, maybe 1/2, who knows... would you trust that, and why would you want to bother setting something like that up if you knew it was impossible to determine the real number?

Maybe it could be of more interest occasionally to put a link to perhaps a gift on a web page and track that.
This would at least indicate that after opening some of it was read.
