Title: error coming up sometimes

I have set up listmailpro on my server. I got it working fine. However, sometimes when I try sending out I get this error message come up:-

Sending error. Check your mail settings.

Server said:
354 Enter message, ending with "." on a line by itself


This does not always happen so I am confused as to what is wrong.
