Title: Error Message: Last name

I'm getting an error message when people try to subscribe to my email newsletter. It is:

"There were errors with your subscription to our mailing list.

The error messages are as follows:
You didn't enter your last name.

Please press the back button on your browser and re-enter your information."

Does anyone know why this is happening? I tried to even create code where they would enter their first and last name, but it still gives this error message.

What you need to do is uncheck the "Last Name" option under "Required Fields" on the "List Settings" page for List 1.
