Title: Files in the CGI-bin folder
Post by: completeplan4 on November 02, 2006, 08:04:19 am
Hi,

Could I get a list of the files in the cgi-bin forlder that are suppose to be there  and if there are any files the software is creating afterwards.

I think I may have an uninvited visitor and some files that should not be there. Thanks in advance.

ListMail files in your cgi-bin folder might include the following:

bounce.cgi
signup-listX.cgi (with X being the list being subscribed to)

That's it.  Other files could be part of other scripts, however... so I don't know what deleting them will do.

I highly recommend bringing your concerns to the attention of your host so they can investigate.
