Hello,
I'm wondering if someone could tell me if you can have some hidden variables.
An example: I would like to have the same optin for a number of different web pages. I would like to have a different hidden variable on each web page.
Web page 1 would have a hidden variable such as 'site1' that would be put into the List Mail data base.
Web page 2 would have hidden 'site2' that would be put into the List Mail data base. and so on.
Can this be done? If so could someone tell me how?
Thanks,
Shawn

Shawn,
Click on "List Settings" -> "Custom Fields". Here you can set up 10 custom fields for your list. To enable a field simply give it a name. Field #1 can be passed to your signup form as "user1". Field #2 as "user2", and so on.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance!
Regards

Dean,
What I'm trying to do is have a variable that is not entered in by the person filling out the form but rather a field that is hidden in the form so that I would know which site they signed up from.
I will have a number of websites with the same list for them to sign up on. Example <Var1> from site #1 might be 'apple'; <Var1> from site #2 might be 'orange'; <Var1> from site #3 might be 'banana'; and etc.
I'm sure that there is a way, but I'm not sure how.
Thanks,
Shawn
PS. This Listmail is such an awesome program. I have been using it for years. It has been one of the Best Investment I have made.
