Title: How can I best secure listmailpro?
Post by: thingsdonenow on November 01, 2004, 10:53:12 pm
The permissions on Unix are kind of lax. Files are readable but not writable.

From what I can tell, I'm completely dependent on my web server's security to secure listmailpro and render it unreadable.

Can I delete config.php, so that the SQL password isn't available?

Anything else I can do to secure this?

Thanks.

As with most, if not all, PHP / MYSQL scripts your MySQL access info in config.php must be readable.  It is up to the web host to secure your home directory.
