Title: How Can I Start Getting Sign Ups?

I dont need to worry about sending autoresponds and emails yet because I am going to change host. But how do I get signups? What do I need to configure?

You can collect signups via a subscription form on your web site or, host supporting, by blank email to a certain email address.

Signup forms can be generated from within ListMail on the "List Settings" -> "Signup Code" page.  Paste the resulting HTML onto a page on your web site and you're all set to start accepting subscribers.  There is also a help page on signup forms:

Blank email subscription is more difficult and may or may not be possible on your (future) host.  Details can be found in the following help page - check out the sub-categories of this section for lots more info:
