Title: Message Codes

I'm setting up my message codes, but when I send a preview to myself, the codes appear as !signature instead of the custom text I entered. Is there anything to be aware of here?

Mike explains this one well in this post:

Basically during the preview, which can be used from pages such as the "followup set editing page" or when you haven't yet saved or sent the working message, we can't guarantee the "Current List".  If you want to see your message with all codes processed I highly recommend sending a test mailing to a test list.
