Title: Message Codes

Hello:  I am trying to send an email and have the first name personalized and added in using the message code !name, but it keeps putting !name where "Susan" should be.

Hoping someone can help. Thanks.

Maybe you are seeing this in the test mail preview?
If this is so, only the message codes are sent to the test address at present. When sent to list addresses then the names are inserted.

The default message code for First Name is !fname not !name - could you be entering it wrong or did you actually go and rename the message code?  First Name message codes should be processed in the Admin Preview, although they might be replaced by a string such as "FIRST" for example purposes.  Some codes, however, such as Custom Text may not be processed in the preview at this time.
