Title: PHP mail not on server - any workaround?
Post by: netcoms on January 26, 2007, 04:15:56 am
Hi, we have disabled php mail on our server and don't really want to have it switched on, is there a workaround so that all mails are sent via the smtp mail server?

Many thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

In many years this has not come up.  I am very sorry but no a workaround is not available, and I can't think of an easy way to put this in as my experience with other injection methods is limited...

Could you, perhaps, run a separate mail-enabled version of PHP on a per-domain basis?

Regards

Hi Dean, I thought you may say that, so I've set postfix to run on my server again so php mail can work, all seems ok so far!!!
