Title: Problem with sending HTML newsletters
Post by: dawn on September 12, 2005, 06:47:53 am
I searched through the forums, but couldn't find an answer to my question, so please forgive me if it's been asked before.

I've been trying to send out an HTML newsletter.  The HTML version comes out perfect, but the text version is blank.  When I schedule the newsletter, I do actually paste in a text version, so that shouldn't be the case.

I just recently upgraded to 1.84, but I had this problem with previous versions as well and never followed through with finding out why.

What am I doing wrong?  I'd appreciate any suggestions!  Thank you!

Please submit your information at http://listmailpro.com/support under "Other" (along with a note) and I will investigate this issue.

Title: Oppostie effect

I can send text only, but when I put in the html code, nothing comes through. All I get is a blank email. It used to work on WHM CP, but now I am on Hsphere CP so maybe that is where the differecne is. Also, when the email arrives, the subject always has back slashes as in: "\\"Techhead News\\

I can live with the backslashes, but the html is a problem. It must be a server relationship because it worked on cPanel brand just fine.

Is there something I can alter to get it to work?

Are you on v1.84?  Slashes should not be a problem anymore - these types of errors were more common at the inception of ListMail.

Please submit your server info as per my post above to Dawn so I can do some troubleshooting on the HTML issue.
