Title: Problems connecting to the MySQL database

Hi there,

I've just purchased your software and I'm having a few technical problems regarding connecting to my database. I first overcame the hurdle of connecting the PHP document connecting to my BT account's MySQL database which I created. I had to avoid 'localhost'. Then, unfortunately, after installing and using the software for a few hours testing it lost the database connection for no reason - I didnt change any settings. I'm now back to square one and the database wont connect.

I've now tried using another database and username but am still having no luck. My config.php file looks correct as do the CHMOD settings on the CGI docs and the database exists. What else can I do to get the software up and running. Any ideas?

Greetings,

This sounds very much like a hosting issue.  I suspect the server is probably responding as expected by now.  Please contact your host if you still cannot connect to the MySQL server.
