Title: Sending Error

I am having trouble sending emails.

On the Administration for Sending Email I see a message that says

Sending error. Check your mail settings.

Server said:
354 go ahead

The sending stops after every few messages and I have to keep resuming.

Can you help please?

Where will I find this file that I have to put $smtp_timeout=45; into please?
