Post by: hbalfour on November 04, 2008, 06:42:49 pm
Is there a way to adjust the carriage lengths in sent emails so I can have them all set at 65 charcters per line or do I have toi code everything in HTML?

Due to issues encoding PHP-wrapped email this feature was disabled.  It may be re-added in a future release, though.  Until then, you might use a program like this (http://www.wordwrapmagic.com).  Unfortunately I couldn't find a web site to do the same thing. :(

Hi,

I read your  post about emails being sent and trying to control the lengths of lines.  What I've done to address this issue is simple.

I  use a utility which  takes my text message and automatically adds a soft return to the text  depending on the length I request. Then I simply  copy and paste it into LMP  to send.

Unfortunately you  have to do it for every message you want to send.

This is the free website I use to format my text emails to any character length:

And for HTML I use this free WYSIWYG editor:
