I'm new to the ListMail and I'm trying to follow the thread for different lists and signup. Does each list require a different signup-listX.cgi, if they are in different sets (groupings)? Are the two signup-lists (signup-list1.cgi and signup-list2.cgi) provided with the installation stimulates two separate lists (groupings). If I were to create a new list, completely different from the other two lists, I would change the lines: $list = '2'; to $list = '3' or if multiple lists were involved $list = '4,5,6';. I'm I on the right track.
Thanks!

Hey Warren,
I apologize for the delay - you got a bit lost in the mix of things. :)
Have you seen the help page at http://listmailpro.com/help/cgi.html? It may answer a lot of your questions. If you like, let me know where I should elaborate so as not to confuse future customers.
To facilitate signup-by-blank-email, each list or set of lists requires it's own signup-listX.cgi.
The included files, signup-list1.cgi and signup-list2.cgi, are for signing up to list 1 and 2 respectively. You can create any number of email "aliases" (addresses that forward [to the CGI script]), as they're called, and point them to the signup script of your choice.
If I were to create a new list, completely different from the other two lists, I would change the lines: $list = '2'; to $list = '3' or if multiple lists were involved $list = '4,5,6';. I'm I on the right track.
Yes, that's right - you are on the right track.
Please let me know if i can be of further assistance!
