A part way through all mailings I get the following message. Never seen it before but does anyone know what is happening and how a NON TECHIE lilke me can sort it out. I have seen and not reallyunderstood one posting in the forum but other than that...
Sending error. Check your mail settings.

I cancelled the mailing at the top of the config panel but I have no idea who has recieved the emails...I don't want to resend to them of course but again how do I find them out. Very worried!

Here is the post on it:

You probably aren't running the lastest version and a user deleted an email while it was running.
Just delete that users through PHPmyadmin and run it again.
If you upgrade or click the option to save users who delete, you won't run into this agian.

THanks Paul
I did find you post from a while ago but being a non techie a few other questions:
1. How do I get into my PHP Admin?
2. How do I find out what version I am running
3. If I upgrade do I need to go into PHP adim at all?
I am sure there will be more questions but thank you for your help

You should be able to be into PHPmyadmin through the control panel software for your site. Most hosts offer CPanel or Plesk.
If you upgrade it should solve it for future mails, but this mailing would have to be cancelled.

I have got into the phpadmin
where do I go to cancel the mailing I have loads of table and stuff listed on the left a follows:
lm_codes
lm_config
lm_custom
lm_follow
lm_hits
lm_links
lm_lists
lm_saved
lm_schedule
lm_sendq
lm_sent

I cannot see anything about cancelling a mail out.
Any ideas

It would be easier to cancel a mailing by doing it from within ListMail. If there are items in queue you should see a message stating as much at the top of the page when you login to your ListMail Admin. Just hit "Cancel" next to the mailing you wish to cancel.
I highly recommend upgrading as some SMTP fixes have been made for the latest release.
