Dear Dean and forum members,        24 June 2004 12:29:40 Central

When selling through Clickbank they redirect to thank you page and/or a download page.

I would like to put up a Customer Capture Page with a Signup Form, which puts the customer on my buy list for that product because Clickbank doesnt supply a list.

Instead of redirecting to thank you and/or download page I would like to have Clickbank redirect to Signup Form which does not bother with confirmation etc.

I can put in a Custom HTML page redirect, php redirect is better but doesn't work, to the product in the Signup Confirm Page but I don't want to bother the customer with a Confirmation since they have already purchased my product.

Is there any way to accomplish this. It is very important to me to capture some of customer information before redirecting them to download page. A confirmation email would be an impediment in this scenario.

Thank you for your attention to the above request and please have a pleasant day!

Yours very sincerely and respectfully,
Frank F Eckdall

So, you want your ClickBank thank-you page to automatically sign up the user?  This is possible.  Your user would need to be redirected to the following:

http://site.com/mail/signup.php?list=1&email=$email

The "$email" variable in the above link would need to be the email address as provided by ClickBank.  The only problem is, I'm not sure if ClickBank passes the email address back to the thank-you page.  The way I do it on my site is with a Perl invoice processor that captures addresses and information from the invoices as they come in - before they are forwarded to my inbox.  You can use custom Perl/PHP & MySQL to insert users into ListMail.  Some scripts are available here:

You can disable confirmation on a per list basis from within ListMail.
