Author Topic: How-to Delete a list?? (Read 2938 times)

I just tried to delete a list and the users for it but got the following message and the list was still there:
invalid data

Any ideas on how to kill off this list?

I haven't seen this error before - are you on the latest stable (v1.86b)? If not, please upgrade and let me know if you continue to have troubles.

Yep, that's the one I got. I just went and tried to be sure, invalid data is what I get after I click on the delete button. And, the list is still there...

I'll need sufficient access to troubleshoot this potential bug on your installation/server. Please submit a bug report and include the list you are trying to delete.

Did that, twice, got an error message about my sql syntax?!!??! I used the comments section and apparently the system doesn't like smilies or other punctuation... let me know if it didn't 'take' and I'll send it in again without any comments :-)

!!!! I just discovered a new twist to this litte problem, I should have tried it earlier but didn't think of it (sorry!) The link at the top that says 'delete' works fine, it's the link at the bottom that is screwed up!! I *just* tried the top one and it deleted that list perfectly, then using a new list I tried the bottom link and got the same error as above... Please let me konw if you still wish access to the installation. (you might be able to reproduce this one now :-)

Got it - a variable used in the bottom button was being overwritten since the addition of the "Custom HTML" and "Error Messages" select boxes on the List Settings page. This will be fixed in future versions and I do not need to access your installation.
