Import hit stats into excel--integrate this feature into LM?
« on: August 11, 2005, 06:55:04 pm »
Someone posted a useful script here: http://listmailpro.com/forum/index.php?topic=29.msg3249 for how to import hit statistics into Excel.

However, for us non-programmers, it's a little daunting. Could we get this built into ListMail as a feature?

Pretty Please?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I am not totally familiar with the Excel script - I haven't used it.  I will be improving the tracking feature within ListMail, without relying on Excel, some time in the near future.

For the meantime, if you don't understand the creator's instructions for setting up  I recommend you post a reply - I'm sure they (or I) will be happy to point you in the right direction!

Would you like a wish list on this feature?

I'm sure when I give it some thought I'll come up with some good ideas but yes, of course, please let me know yours.

Don't know why this didn't occur to me sooner...the best option is to just export the entire file -- all the link hits with all the data associated with each...to the Excel file. That way I (or other users) can analyze and chart to our heart's content.

Thanks!
