Daily mail works - but follow-ups don't

Hi Dean

Bought the script months ago. Only set it up recently.

I have configured it. And the daily mail comes to me successfully.

I also get the initial mail as a subcriber but not the followup message.

Daily mail reports the new sign-up and reports that the follow-up was sent but I never get the follow-up mail.

I set the follow-up to 0 for sending in 24hrs.

Please assist.

Do standard emails to a test list come through ok to the same address(es)?  If not, and possibly even if so, your host may be experiencing some delivery problems.  Please try signing up a variety of test email addresses, especially ones not on a free account (Yahoo, AOL, etc) as delivery to these can be significantly delayed on busy servers.

I tried email addresses on 3 different domains - one on gmail.com.

While replying here I send to a standard list and got an error messages.
Then I switched on the smtp logging.

Made changes - now waiting for my follow up.

Yes, please let me know if the SMTP logs helps identify the problem.  Perhaps there is a per hour or day limit on email (you'd have to ask your host or check their policy) or an authorization issue.

The logs helped.

Was a simple problem. 550 error saying bounce@... could not be verified because it didn't exist.

And now my followups are coming.
