Author Topic: Getting 2 Dailymail reports? (Read 1692 times)

Hi DW,

This just started happening, not sure what is causing it, most likely the most recent updated... I notice that I'm getting 2 Dailymail reports - even though I do NOT manually run Dailymail.

Here's the header on the first one (completed early in the morning):

Totals: 49 lists, xxxx users (217 new), 639 followups sent

Here's the header on the second one which just finished running this afternoon:

Totals: 49 lists, xxxx users (217 new), 63647 followups sent

Notice that they both report 217 new signups, but the second one has sent out a bunch more of the Followups that hit my lists, I'm not sure what is going on here. If you need me to I can lookup the 'New Signups' to see if there's anything funny there... This also happened last week sometime but I thought it was a fluke, now here it is again!

Do you have any ideas?

Brett,

This happened to me a couple of years ago...It ended up being a problem with the hosting company and the server I was on.

This might be your problem also...who knows

Hi Brett,

Dailymail has been known to run twice if calling wget without the "-T 0" paramater. Without this paramater wget might "retry" the web call. The recent dailymail 23h55m restriction option is meant to further address/fix the issue. Are you using this option?

This must have been it, I did NOT have the parameter, in fact I did not have the trailing output redirects either, I've updated my Cron command and that should fix it.
