Any ideas on why PHP would work and not SMTP recommended ?
« on: April 03, 2007, 11:55:50 am »
Hi Dean,

In regards to the broadcasting...

I've tried multiple tests today ...

It seems if I want to Send an Email to one person --- it will work.

If I try to send to say 150 people then I get that strange error that
I posted earlier.

I did get a broadcast to work -- but only using the PHP settings not the
recommended smtp settings..

Your thoughts on this matter...

Thanks

Christopher

Christopher,

Try modifying the "Reconnect every X emails" SMTP option to be lower - you could have a per-connection limit on email.

I would have to look at the server logs directly to be able to do anything but guess.  You could order a server analysis from http://listmailpro.com/support
