backup problem
« on: July 23, 2007, 05:09:35 am »
Hi Dean
I just now tried to do a backup and did not receive the zip file.
When I did the backup, the editconf.php window appeared with this info:
Optimizing tables... DONE Writing backup file - Please wait... DONE Verifying backup file...
After waiting for several minutes, nothing happened. So I checked my attach file and there was a .LM file but no zip file, and I was not presented with a zip file during the backup, only the editconf.php page.
I downloaded the . LM file from the attach folder and deleted it from there as well.
I tried this twice, but got the same result.
Any ideas why I can't get the zip file (I do have the .gz file option checked). I beleive I an on the latest version (1.87b?)
thanks
Ben

Hi Ben,

Please double-check that you are on the very latest files available from the member area.  If you are not sure, simply download and overwrite your files (except config.php and .cgi scripts).  Once you have done that please let me know if you have any more troubles.  You may want to submit a bug report so I have more information.

Hi Dean
Yes, I am on v1.87d, in fact you upgraded me yourself based on my last support ticket (on 7/6/07)
Anyway, I just tired the backup again (via a different computer) and got the same result. I'll enter the ticket...
