Need help with 'Internal PHP mail()'
« on: May 09, 2007, 11:02:39 am »
I am not allowed to use SMTP and HAVE to use Internal PHP mail ( ).

I've tried different input data, but 'Internal PHP mail ( )' hasn't worked yet.

What should I do to get Internal PHP mail ( ) working.

I can NOT move my hosting at this time but I will do so ASAP.

Thanks

Do confirmation and/or welcome messages work?  These use internal PHP mail() regardless of whether SMTP is enabled or not.

You may need to check that all sending addresses exist in your hosting control panel either as a forwarder or mailbox - this is a known (rare) restriction.

You may want to inquire with your host about the feature not working.  Point them to your signup form that should generate a welcome email upon signup.  They should be able to do a signup while following the system mail logs to see exactly what's going on.
