Can't find CHMOD directory anywhere?

Hey,
.
Its alton....,
.
Dean, I can not find the CHMOD file in the /attach/directory folder.
I downloaded the WS_FTP, then searched for the CHMOD file in
all 41 files in ListMail directory . I did not find nothing
relating to setting permissions to 777 in the CHMOD file.
2 files [ `popup' file & `help' file ] provided information
about CHMOD file, giving more information why its important
to set permissions to 777 so can upload or download file
to ListMail.
.
Opening the /attach/ directory in WS_FTP, shows one file. The 'example` file
which is a blank file. Nothing is on the example file when it opens in notepad.
.
I can open the /attach/ directory that I have upload to my host.
Then /attach/ directory show a total of 6 files:
1. README.TXT
2. bounce.cgi
3. example.txt
4. signup-list1.cgi
5. signup-list-cgi
6.sign-xtra.php
.
Then I opened these 6 files in the text editor, but fail again
to find any listing pertaining to the CHMOD directory.
It seems like the CHMOD file is not there anywhere. I do not
think that its that difficult to edit if I could the file
in the CHMOD directory.
.
Any more suggestion?
.
alton...,

Hi Alton,

CHMOD is not a file it's actually a linux command used to change file permissions.  FTP programs might describe this as "Permissions" or "CHMOD" or even file "Properties"

Check out this chmod tutorial and Wikipedia entry.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance!
