Dean,
I'd like to give a client access to their own list, but I want to give them a separate login so they only see their list.

Is this possible?
Cheers

Kerryn,

Unfortunately, due to internal security concerns, this is not yet a feature.  There is the potential for abuse and unexpected issues (server crashes, etc) when ListMail owners start giving accounts away for free or cheap.  Many restrictions and access controls will need to be implemented.  I hope to be able to provide this one day.  For now, if you trust the user, you might set up an additional installation/database of ListMail for them to use on your site.

If hosting additional installations for independent clients, would this not require a separate licence to be purchased for each installation?

Yes. I would like to add, Karen, that the user is not a legitimate owner of ListMail so they cannot move ListMail from your server.

I normally require clients like this to purchase another license, but if it's a one time thing for someone low risk (I made this assumption here) I don't mind being generous to help keep business moving smoothly.  Giving someone full access to ListMail on a shared host is basically betting your own business on their actions - it's quite risky and I can't recommend doing it.  If the client has their own hosting / domain they should, in all cases, have their own license.
