Can I make changes to ALL followups at once?
« on: June 14, 2004, 03:59:42 pm »
I have a set of 40 follow-ups written and loaded in ListMail. Is there a way to make a global 'search and replace' so I can change the web address at the bottom of each of those 40 follow-ups?

Of course, I can go in and manually change each one, but ...

Thanks,
Len

Len,

Unfortunately, this is not a current feature of the program.  I'm not entirely sure about the best way to implement this.

What I would recommend for the future is to use a message code of the type "Custom Text".  This way, you can make a change in one place, message codes, instead of editing each and every message.

Ah well, that's OK.

Thanks for the suggestion for next time.

The only other way would be with a custom PHP script that connects to your ListMail database and loops through the followups replacing the data of your choice.  I would be willing to help you out for free, if you haven't made (most of) the changes already.
