Can LMP be set to respond to a purchase made?
« on: July 27, 2008, 11:42:20 am »
I have just purchased LMP but realize that it may not do what I need. I am setting up a subscription membership site using joomla and amember. I will also have a few items for sale through this site. Can LMP be set to send the ebook once the payment has been received?
I have 1shoppingcart on a month to month basis though it's new and I haven't built up a large list yet.

aMember has a ListMail plugin that can add users to a list when they make a purchase.  I am not sure if they have digital delivery via web page or if they send their own welcome message.  The last I heard was the plugin did not send the ListMail welcome message, however the users are added to the lists and can be set to receive timed followup emails.

So there is no setting that can trigger LMP to send a pdf/ebook etc if a purchase is made in aMember or on my general site outside of aMember?
I want confirmation of this because if that is the case then I'll have to get a refund as it won't work for what I have in mind.

How do I get a full refund?

Since LMP won't work with digital delivery on purchases I'll have to use my current autoresponder.
It's a pity. How do I go about getting a full refund?
Thanks

I believe aMember sends a "welcome" email to buyers.  I highly recommend simply including a link to your download instead of sending it as an attachment - the main reason being that email servers are not great at transferring large(r) files.
