First name capital letter
« on: August 20, 2007, 05:58:06 am »
Is there any way to capitalize the first letter of every First Name in database?

If not, is it possible (if I had the resource) to write script and apply it to the database to perform this task?

If this is not possible, is it possible to have a script written by my resource and have the Administrator apply it?

Of course, this mod would be available to all users :D

While ListMail can't capitalize every first name IN the database, it can capitalize names at sending time.  Click "Edit" next to any "First Name", "Last Name" or "Full Name" message code and you should see the option to capitalize output.

I have gone to the database, found a first name that is NOT capitalized, click edit, then click "message codes" - all I get is a a list of the allowed message codes allowed inthe messages.

Cannot locate "option to capitalize output"

Try this:

1. Click "Message Codes" on the main left menu
2. Click "Global Codes"
3. Click "Edit" next to the code named !fname
