Hi Wayne,

Lists are always active.  If you have a list with no followups you can accept and add subscribers and email them.  If you have a list with followups they (providing dailymail is configured) will be sent to subscribers automatically in the days following subscription.

Dean

My IT guy has linked subscribers to a list ie when they subsribe to free newsletter details as add to a list, what I don't know how to do is automate them so they are getting a sequence of mails / follows ups. Worked out how to create the follow up e mails but not to make them then happen?

How do I make it happen automaticlly or manually for that matter.

Thanks

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Followups are active as soon as they are created.  New users, added manually or by subscription, will be in line to start receiving them. Followups are processed and sent by the "Dailymail" scheduled script.  Note the help files here: http://www.listmailpro.com/help/dailymail_cron.html.  If dailymail is not set up correctly followups will not be processed or sent.  You can manually execute the dailymail script from the "Dailymail" page of the ListMail main menu.  Each execution advances users "one day".
