Customise notification e-mails / Additional custom fields

Hi there,

New user here. I was wondering if anyone could help me with two questions.

Firstly, is it possible to customise the notification e-mails we receive when a new user is added to a list?

Secondly, is it possible to add additional custom fields, i.e. more than 10?

Greetings, Unfortunately neither of these is currently possible.  More custom fields has been suggested and is a likely candidate for a future update.  I have not heard of anyone wanting to customize the signup notifications - is there a specific reason for this I might be able to advise a work-around for?

We basically would like to chage the subject line of the notification e-mail, as we route these messages internally - it's an ease-of-use issue really.

You could search admin.php for the string "Signup!", which will locate the line that sets the message subject.  If you change this, however, it would need to be re-applied after a future update.

I would like to modify the email that notifies us of a signup so I can print a mailing label with address without having to edit out the first name:, Last Name:, Address1:, State:, etc out of the users data.
We use the list for catalog request signups and have to edit the data for each signup.
Any way to "clean up" the data presented?

Garnet,

You would either have to manually search for and modify the notification message or set up a CGI script to parse the received notification messages before they reach your actual email account.  The former would probably be easiest.
