Unable to send email to list after 1.85 upgrade...
« on: December 26, 2005, 12:45:34 am »
Hi Dean,

Best wishes for the holidays!

I have successfully upgraded from 1.84 to 1.85 (successfully according to the upgrade process anyway).

I then log in and try to send an email to any list. I load the email and send. I then click on the OK button on the pop-up box telling me that this will send the email to the active list etc... and I then get the following error:

"Please wait while email is queued to send... admin-35-Table 'xxxxxxx_yyyyyyyyyyyyy.lm_sendp' doesn't exist" (table names obviously changed for security reasons).

I have checked in MySQL and the sendp table definitely doesn't exist.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks Dean,
Matt.

Matt,

The table should be created by the upgrade process initiated when you browse to the login page using the new files.  When you browse to the login page now do you see any upgrade-related messages?  If so, it would seem the update wasn't able to update (parts of?) your database.  This can sometimes require manual reconstruction which I can do if you submit your info to tech support under "Other".

Hi Dean,

It seems that Dreamweaver hadn't copied all the files up to my webserver properly. Once I copied all the files up, and re-loged in, the upgrade process started again and seemed to run completely this time.

I checked the tables in MySQL and the new table was there so I completely logged in and was able to send an email propely this time.

Thanks Dean.

Matt.
