Removing unconfirmed users is a part of dailymail. Do you run dailymail regularly? If so, this is unexpected and I can investigate.
Hi Dean
Nope. Never run Daily Mail because I don't send mail daily. Once/week. When I go into daily mail I get a warning, as follows:
------------------------------
Warning!
Dailymail should only be executed by a daily scheduled task on your web host. Manually running it will send emails to all of your lists and advance the timing of all of your users currently scheduled followups one day.
------------------------------
I must have slept through this part of the class
We don't have dailymail running as a scheduled task on our host site.
What exactly is it that I'm missing and supposed to do?
I would manually run it, but it says that it's going to send emaills to all of my lists? What emails?
What with the existing problem of fixed time on the mail server (still haven't received a resposne on that) the software would be hard pressed to send mail to all of our lists anyway.
It's no big deal about the accumulated unconfirmed users. I was just curious as to how to clean them out and lo and behold, I've come across a set up issue with our system. Fill me in and I'll see what can be done about this dailymail stuff, but I don't want mail sent daily to our subscribers.
Thanks.
Take care,
