Error message when attempting to add attachments to email
« on: January 26, 2006, 07:07:57 am »
Dean,
I am receiving an error message when I attempt to attach a file to any of my emails.  The pop up box says

Line 104
Character 71
Error:  Expected (Some type of symbol)
Code 0
http://www.successfulmarketingtools.com/listmail/uploadphp@p=mail.

I did not have this problem several weeks ago.  I am not using Firefox to access list mail.  I do use a php program to upload to listmail.  I can open the files but the little yellow triangle is tnere and will not let me attach any of the files.  Are others having this problem or error or is this unique to my listmail.  More importantly, how can this be corrected?  Thank you

DW

Are you on the latest version (1.85)?  If so, please submit your info so I can take a closer look.

I had a look and have confirmed the problem in your installation, which runs v1.84.  This does not seem to be an issue in v1.85.  Please upgrade your installation with v1.85 from the member area.  Alternately, I'll do an upgrade for you for $20 (PayPal link), including setting up the new auto-resume feature.

As you know, Al, this was verified as a bug with filenames containing an apostrophe.  I am not exactly sure when this bug was introduced as I could have sworn I tried a filename with an apostrophe in the past, but it exists in v1.85 and will be fixed in the next update for everyone.
