Deleting uploaded files

I've got a lot of uploaded files; when I try to delete them i get the error message:

Deleting File: Holiday markets - stay involved or go away..(f).pdf
Warning: unlink(./attach/Holiday markets - stay involved or go away..(f).pdf) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/sevendaysahead.com/httpdocs/listmail/upload.php on line 94

what's happening?

If the files were uploaded via FTP instead of from within ListMail they will have a different 'owner' on the system.  You should be able to delete the files using FTP.
