Filtering email lst?
« on: May 10, 2006, 02:51:03 pm »
Hello all,

I have a mailing list running with 3 newsletters and a subscriber therefore has the choice of List 1, List 2 or List 3.  All is working fine.

However, I'm stuck.  I want to send an email to everyone, however, if I send to all subscribers on list 1, they will get the same email if subscribed to List 2 and may get it three times if they are subscribed to List 3!

There doesn't appear to be a way to send to ALL, or filter the lists.  Maybe I'm missing something, but can anyone guide me.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg,

What you need to do is set up a User Selection with 3 rules to select users on any of the lists (OR statement), and enable the "Filter duplicates" option.  This will ensure that users on multiple lists do not receive multiple messages.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance!
