Strange error when sending with latest release.
« on: September 18, 2006, 01:44:22 am »
Any idea what this means and how to remedy it? I sent out an email two days prior with no issues. Also I resumed the mailing after this showed up and it says it delivered the final amount of emails.

I am hoping that it won't happen on my next mailing. I will let you know if it does but in the mean time I need to isolate this and prevent futher mailing issues.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide...

Richard,

Your server could be delaying slightly in the case of non-existent domains.  When this happens ListMail tries to 'skip' the message.  On servers which are just a bit too slow to respond the next SMTP response is not what is expected. Try adding the following line to your config.php to allow for a larger timeout when sending messages.
Code: [Select]
$smtp_timeout = 30;
