Problem upgrading to 1.8 PLEASE HELP URGENT!

I'm not sure if I had the 1.77b files, I know I had 1.77, here's the erorr I am getting:

Okay, all done.  It appears the update was interrupted at some point midway.  Did you, perhaps, login before the update was finished?  (It says "Please wait' but you may not have noticed it).  The field "urows" was changed to "sortopts" and looking at your database this was true.  However, the rest of the update did not take as there were still only 12 tables in your database (1.8 has 17).  So, I changed "sortopts" back to "urows" and ran the update again, letting it finish.  It appears ok now!
