User Selection not coming up with selected users
« on: April 15, 2005, 01:03:25 am »
Hi I wrote a user selction rule to search on my first custom field "country" for those members from the UK (of which there are a fair number) When I hit "show query" it cam up with this:

select * from lm_users where (1 and user1 like '%UK%') group by email;
0 users matched

What am I doing wrong?  :cry:

Thanks,

Lynda

Multiple variables for a selection

It sorted itself out and cam up with 40 members. Great!

Now, is there a way I can sort for UK or England or Great Britain in the same rule?  People enter their country in different ways!

Thanks,

Lynda

I'm glad it sorted itself out.

To search for England or Great Britain in the same rule, simply use an [OR] statement in a new rule on the same level with the same search paramaters (changing the search text, of course).

To be sure you have the latest Selective Sending fixes, grab the latest files from the member area.
